Overview

P-Vita converts palm waste and other organic waste into biofertilizers using sustainable, biotech-driven processes. By working with P-Vita, smallholder farmers can sell their waste and generate additional income, while improving soil health and increasing crop productivity with the usage of biofertilisers in rural Egypt.

The project pilots a scalable circular economy model that allows farmers to sell their waste for processing, creating new income streams while providing access to affordable, effective fertilizers. This approach improves soil health, increases crop productivity, and reduces reliance on chemical inputs. Through this WFP-supported pilot, we aim to validate the solution’s commercial viability, social impact, and potential for replication across rural Egypt.
