Overview

Rainwater harvesting captures and stores runoff for farming and household use, while recharge techniques help replenish underground water reserves. The project is developing a community-led plan and technical blueprint to expand these approaches in water-scarce regions.

It combines locally adapted designs with support for local authorities and community participation in planning and management, including women and vulnerable groups, to improve water security and strengthen resilience to drought.
