Call for Proposals: Adaptation SMEs Innovation Facility in Latin America and the Caribbean
Applications are now open for Adaptation SMEs Innovation Facility (ASIF) Ignite Latin America and the Caribbean Cohort 1, focused on the Water Economy for Climate Resilience.
ASIF Ignite's eight-week programme is designed for early-stage founders across Latin America and the Caribbean who have developed a prototype and are ready to test their solution with real users. Selected founders will receive practical support to validate their solutions, strengthen their business models, explore the use of AI, and build evidence of demand and climate impact.
We are looking for climate adaptation and resilience solutions in areas including:
-
Water and waste management
-
Ecosystems and natural resources
-
Sustainable development and resilient infrastructure
Solutions addressing marine, coastal, freshwater, riverine, wetland and watershed systems are encouraged. Women-led and women co-led ventures are strongly encouraged to apply.
Applicants should be based in Latin America or the Caribbean, have a prototype ready to test, and be developing a climate adaptation or resilience solution for climate-vulnerable communities. Applicants do not need to be AI experts but should be interested in exploring how AI tools could strengthen their work.
