Overview

The system combines satellite imagery and aerial surveillance to detect and monitor forest fires in Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. Machine learning analyses the data to forecast how fires could spread and assess potential impacts.

The system alerts park authorities and nearby communities to support faster firefighting and evacuation. Training helps staff operate the system and coordinate responses, reducing risks to people, biodiversity and the forests that store carbon.
